I heard somewhere that you can actually cook a whole pumpkin or squash in the pressure cooker. I want to do this. But I can not find the details (time and #)of using the pressure cooker. Does anyone know how long to let it pressure cook and at what pressure...

I turned right apart into a pile of mush? Also, how long did you cook the 4 sweet potatoes and how long once cooked or was everything falling ....

One thing I don't do is I don't put the grate on the inside with the pot... .
(see below) After cooking, simply fold up your â casserole dish with lid to cook in and it is perfect for this.
To the other helps to stabilize it in windy weather .
I see that ladies here love the slow cooker for adult cooking. I have one. How about using the pressure cooker? I have one too, it cooks things super fast. Nutrition wise should be good. What do you think? Why would you use a slow cooker over a pressure...

cooker is AMAZING for only being in there 35 minutes! Also, I've found slow cooking a whole roast better than pressure cooking.

BTW, have you found that....
For the indian boiled rice..the best method is to cook in a pressure cookerLavanya, I have always used the regular cooker, keeping lesser water than normal and it has always turned out well.
Boiled/red/ukda rice.

What is an induction cooker and how does it differ from other methods of cooking ? Is e.g. a glass plate stove not also a form of induction cooking ? Does induction cooking save a lot of electricity - always a factor, considering the ESKOM tarrifs!

PS: There are now cook books just for Rice Cookers, and....
Just remember, be creative.
It cooks without this Rice Cooker.
Used the Wolfgang Puck 10 cup rice cooker for cooking rice and steaming veggies and fish.

We have found that you can do the same type cooking in the turbo as you do in the oven at home.
