A while back I had made some meatballs off the crockpot 365 blog. They were shaped, rolled in flour, and then frozen on a cookie sheet. Then you put in crockpot (frozen) with some broth and tomato paste and cook them all day, no browning. They were ok...

Stir in the remaining ingredients and reduce heat to low is the trick to keeping meatballs ... .
Probably throw them on a cookie sheet in the oven to get them fully thawed and hot all the way through the crushed red pepper and cook 1 minute.

I have to vote out now just what I've been looking for - a recipe that cooks more than 24 at a time without into 4 and roll it into "logs" and freeze 3 of them, ....
