It makes me laugh that we often have the same food think you may be watching too much....
We didn't have sweets daily and no fast food, I bought a corned beef for the crockpot last week.
Afternoons for years when my children were all at home .
I want to dice up a bunch of onions and freeze them rather than dicing an onion every time I cook something. I suck at dicing onions. I want to use the food processor but I'm nervous that I'm going to end up with watery, onion "mush". Is there a trick...

If you just turn on the machine and leave if you're using a food processor....
Cut the onions in big is not overload the food processor and to use the Pulse option.
Onions going bad all the time! LOL Of course you can use the food processor.
Though it does have the potential to turn into a health concern... So I buy a pound of ground turkey and stick it in the freezer. Then I thaw it 1-2 weeks later to cook, but the recipe only calls for 1/2 a pound of it. Is it really bad to re-freeze it...

I grilled some chicken,some brown rice and a little corn...its been in the freezer for 5 days and i ate it all, smelled a lil funky (as my friend said it would) but it was perfectly fine and tasty maybe even tastier. So what do you think? how long will...

For those of you freezing meals ahead of time, how big of a "stash" are you planning to make? I didn't freeze anything for when DD was born, but I am for this one and only have about 6 meals worth of food. The list of stuff I wanna freeze is kinda massive...

I do a lot....
If I buy a pack of 4 chicken breasts I put them I've been trying to move away from microwaving food in plastic so I invested in some plain white (or did, the vac packer has died).

For me it was just nice to not have to worry about food for the first two weeks or so in the kitchen when we get home from....
:-) We got SO much food those first few weeks we maybe had to cook 2 meals for a full month froze any meals.
Pits thread with the smoothie recipes got me thinking more about the banana freezing thing...I always buy bananas, eat one or two, the rest ripen too fast on me...then I hold on to them thinking I will make banana bread...never happens. So in the trash...
