Although I have to agree with kingevil on this ... .
I wouldn't be surprised if the salinity shock killed it, even if no other inverts died .
All inverts can be very sensitive to water parameter changes .

They eat both plants and animals.
Including hermits, are omnivores--and opportunistic feeders.

Coral banded shrimp I currently have a 30 gallon hex tank with 2 ocelaris clowns, 2 firefish and 1 emerald crab I was considering adding a CBS to the mix. Does anyone have experience with these? I'm curious to know if they would get along.

Your best bet is to take care of it manually if you can .
They like to eat they could start preying on the snails and shrimp especialy when they get larger something else to eat.
