Cost of owing a diesel car? Did anybody calculated a cost and all expenses of owing a diesel car vs. a regular 4cyl.?
Scenario is:
1. Two cars. VW Passat 2.5 and 1.4TDI Both base models.
2. 25000 – 30000 km per year.
3. 50/50 city/hwy
4. 4-5 years owing...

You only get 37mpg on your Diesel?, that's poor, I would consider changing to another car,even an astra 1700cc Diesel , would manage around 55mpg or more.

I have a 1994 F150 XL with the 5 speed manual transmission and hydraulic clutch.
A new clutch kit and hydraulic parts were put in about 1000 miles ago.
The clutch master cylinder sprung a leak near a parting line in the plastic.
Shop put in another one...

On that little lever it can be in bolted.

So at the moment I own a 2010 1.3 Petrol Suzuki Swift, and was wondering if this would be ok for a daily commute of 165 miles, roughly 825 miles a week and roughly 43000 miles a year.
or should I be considering something else?? If so what would you recommend...

Due to manufacturing cost etc fuel pipes the compression ratio necessary to ignite diesel.
