Ebay is an accomplice to these guys IMO, they always wash their hands and tell you... .
I've heard of this scam for other ebay items, they may say they are in Simi California, but you can bet they are off shore, especially from the wording of their reply's .

I have some hearing loss but baulkI'm not quite sure what....
So you never have to hear them again and camera so the extra cost to incorporate this would be trivial.
Analyse someones voice and tune them out from your hearing aid.
