It looks like my wife and I are headed there. I think we would both like to stay together but not as things are. Has anyone found marriage counseling to be effective?

Any definition of success is fine by me, so long as its a real-looking survey. If it's a proper scientific survey, it will say what the definition they used was. No need for you all to spend 20 posts debating what...

If you find a good counselor (preferably certified specifically for marriage and family issues counseling, and in the end decided it wasn't going to work (obviously), but I don't regret it at all counseling as soon as I have an income....
