Originally, I think, the book was 3 and something I see as critical... .
It is made up of 3 parts (or volumes).
Anyway, I am very familiar with "A Course In Miracles." If I had to pick a favorite 'holy book suggest than the Course.

OK, so after playing around a bit with the mechanic on cockatrice I usually would risk up to 3 in the main deck.
More Miracles = Higher chance of topdecking, higher risk of mulling
Less Miracles = Lower risk of mulling, lower chance of topdecking..
So...

- do you have card filtering such as looting effects to see one in the course of a 10 turn game in standard?
