Hello all friends. I want to use Delphi to create a program that controls the fan speed of my computer and monitors the temperature.
What API calls are involved in doing that?
Are there any good code samples that you can share?

So I purchased a new Cooler Master Hyper TX3 CPU fan/heatsink yesterday as an upgrade to my current setup as I wanted to be able to OC a bit more. I have been running this setup for about 2-3 years.

So I assume you put the cpu back in and then reset the clamp bar and checked to make sure the cpu would not pull out and then used your paste and put the new cooler back....
I've had cpu's pop out like that before and not damage them.

Why does a processor seemingly run slower as it ages over years?
I've noticed over the years that a well used computer processor starts to run slower as it grows older. It also starts to make that ultra fast clicking sound as it processes. I do not believe...

Computer fans might fail or ....
For instance, iTunes installs all sorts of background processes that take up CPU time and memory.
The CPU itself doesn't run slower(*) but the software installed tends to get time.
Becomes noticeable.
