I've been eating crabs in Maryland for about 20 years. It's generally been my feeling that *real* Marylanders don't use mallets or knives to eat crabs. With experience, you already know how to do just about everything with your fingers...

I'm noticing my red legged crabs are becoming pretty big, while at the same time my blue legged ones are apparently decreasing in number. Is there some sort of crab warfare going on in my tank, or am I just paranoid? I feed 4 chromis, 2 clowns, yellow...

I usually throw a little seaweed in the tank for crabs to pick on between feedings as readily.

Hi
Ive got quiet a few Bristleworms in my tank and i know Arrow Crabs eat them....anyone had any success with housing them both together?

They feed on small clams, crustaceans, and worms; however, they will also eat other animals and even algae. Thank you!

I catch blue crabs up unless you supplementally fed....
Not sure what the salinity is but there are freshwater fish in it .
I have read allot from the bay.
They are vulnerable to the other agressive crabs looking for something to eat.

Free night tonite so headed down to the coast with an old buddy for some hot boiled crabs. This little joint has about 12 tables, cash only and the crab fishermen unload their catch AT the restaurant. Doesn't get any fresher.

I would say yes, but that is because I have one that measures over 1... .
How big is your brittle? most of them should be grazers, is it possible that your scarlet molted? i've never come across my brittles preying on my hermits/snails, but mine are small .
