Need to occupy my mind tonight and have lots of lovely material. Bearing in mind im a beginner but do you have any ideas i can make? I have a shabby look in my room so a few nick naks or cushions mabye x

Are the easiest starting point! have you been on ebay and seen the second hand sewing books/mags? they give back now? Google "free patterns for cushions/crafts/whatever" and you can find FREE step by step she acted....
I had a pattern for mittens that were animals that I knit for my kids.. I would like to knit some for my grandchildren but of course can't find the pattern. I'm sure it came from McCall's Needlework in about 1980, but I'm not absolutly sure of the year...

Rather than using netting; I suggest sewing (flat finish) buttons onto the garment can be had at many fabric suppliers....
Subdued shades are best; so applications.
This material can be bleached or dyed with Rit.
It's already in a roll.

I have a ****load of ....
Just a craft box full of odds and ends.
Storing duck cloth, some solid colored cotton, and lots of thread .
I'm working on leather sewing and its all hand work.
But hey no one is going to bust me for uneven stiches .
