I used to write them down on whatever scrap paper was available at work - thumbnails, colors, general ideas, etc .
Now that I've gotten a smartphone, I've started trying out memo and notepad apps to store to-do lists for ideas and studies and things .

I have been looking at second hand embellisher machines and wonder if they are really worth buying or do they just sit there, unused?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated and which make would be best? I see the Janome has to have the needles replaced...
