I will soon be adding a crank scraper made custom by Ishihara Johnson that has a teflon insert to get as close to the crank as possible. It requires custom fitting...

You might want to look into that.
crank lets you do dug dug dug at 30 km/hr on fourth gear, even climb a hill on the same gear '79 Standard 350 probably has a crank lighter than that of a 2006 Electra.

Crank wheel is a 60-2 which was eventually solved was the ecu ( emerald ) was set up for the wrong type of crank position.
You may find you need to set up the trigger settings to run on wasted spark .

You....
A crank puller is the best way to remove a crank more than a crank puller.
Once you have it you never have to buy it again .
If you intend to put this crank back on, better.
There are some auto gear pullers that will work.
