Just a question:
We all know the worst things the dumpee can do are plead/beg etc.
Now that I went NC and I can see things clear, I feel very embarrassed and ashamed.
From your experience: Is it possible that after a period of time of NC and disappear...

One way to give the old relationship finality in the mind of the dumper (and in his mind, in the mind of the dumpee) is to marry someone else.

The other day I saw a town F350 or F450 dumper plowing my road with the blade fully tripped. It looked like the trip springs were removed. Any guesses why somebody would do that?
