Would Mohammad Be Considered A War Criminal By Modern Standards?
I've wondered for years if Mohammad should be considered a war criminal . If we assume the stories of the Qu'ran are true, would Mohammad be a war criminal according to the Hague or Geneva Conventions?

Does treating everyone like a criminal solve anything?
IIRC, the book Methland by Nick Reding said that regulations have made a significant impact on small-scale meth producers, and that the number of different people producing meth has dropped significantly. However, the slack has largely been taken up by large-scale drug cartels in Mexico, who buy pseudoephedrine in bulk from China, something that is not regulated in Mexico. This is off the top of my head, because I'm at work and the book is at home, but I think my memory's close.

Do you think you'd make a good criminal?
Hmm, I've fantasized myself as a vigilante or serial killer many times before. It's always fun doing the imagination but I don't think I will make a good one. I don't have the heart or stomach for the real thing so I will stick to the pictures in my head.

What if a preg woman is attacked by a criminal?
There is a big difference between being pro-choice, and actually choosing an abortion for yourself. If a woman is pro-choice, and chooses to HAVE her baby, then it is murder if she losses her baby in an attack.
The only situation where this discussion would have merit was if the pregnant woman was a patient at the abortion clinic when she was attacked. If she lost the baby while attempting to undergo an abortion, then it would not be murder on the behalf of the attacker, just assault and robbery.

Admitted war criminal given free pass?
As bad as Bush has turned out to be, Kerry would be even worse. Perhaps the dems will recognize this and find a more viable candidate. I believe, however, that the dems don't really think they can win this year and are just running Kerry so a real candidate doesn't take the loss. Similar to what the reps did when they ran Bob Dole. Looking at our apparent choices in the upcoming election is extremely depressing.
