Is you thread trying to catch ThreadAbortException and then recreate itself? I am not sure it is possible, but anyway it is not a nice way to play with the OS .

You may have to upsample the track to match....
If you havent done it, I suggest you import the original track to the mix for A/B comparison .
If I heard the original track I could tell you what if anything is needed .
I dont recognise the song but i like it.
