Which of these crops use less water to have a avg yield in your area. Like to have some in put from the mid atlantic region guys. Soybeans, cotton, or milo.

I would say beans, were too far north to grow cotton, two years ago we had a drought averaged 60bu corn and 50bu beans ... .
Probably cotton, but timing of rain or irrigation may be as important as total amount .
Cotton here in the northern Texas panhandle.

So at the moment its winter. I bought a field for the basement so that I can grow crops in the winter. The problem is, is I planted grass seeds, but I don't want to grow them anymore. D:

I go in during the summer hols to water and pick, but if you can't then you'd have to accept and squashes from September, then brassicas over the winter I also go in to water, open the polytunnel to arrange for them to water or times....
