I don't want to use Mac or Windows at work but I have a lot of work in Photoshop when I have to create an HTML page from a Photoshop design.
What is the best way to use Photoshop CS3 in Linux, Wine, virtualization, ... ???

At the company I work at, an employee was let go. His laptop was a company laptop with Photoshop CS3 installed on it. Photoshop was deactivated so it could be installed on another computer. The license was bought online and emailed to someone, however...

I've not got a CS3 install to test on, but previous versions of Photoshop have stored keys in the registry like so.
Without the deactivation will prompt a call to Adobe.

Anyone know the reason & solution as to why I can't view / edit my 600d RAW files using CS3? I guess the CS3 RAW "driver" dosen't recognise the file format (CR2) and if that's the case how do I get round it please?

Digital with CS3 and, from what I can see, the most recent CS3 plug-in (4.6) doesn't work with CR2 RAW format.
Check online with Adobe for updates.
You may have to update the raw plugin for CS3.

So now that the public beta for Adobe Photoshop CS3 has been available for, hmmm.... about 48 hours, when can we expect a plug-in for it?

Seriously for a second - the majority of the current controls do not work, even if you add the application manually...

I don't think CS3 is that much better than CS2, and I see one big advantage for CS2, you can run it out of the box with wine on linux and with CS3 you can't do that.

CS4 is out, you sohuld be able to run it on linux soon, I suppose I think CS2 is still better for most of the people as its system requirements are not so high like CS4. .

Hi people,
I hope we have some Photoshop wizards here.
A user is getting the above error when opening images in Photoshop CS3.
Weird thing is, he can open images fine, but when he saves them and tries to open them again, he gets the above error message...
