I meet the following 2 problems:
1. when using iRay from 3DSMax 2013, it tell me that
"IRAY 0.4 89 MB warn : no CUDA capable devices found"
2.Design Garage is always crash.
Some times it reports that my GPU does not have...

Sorry I havent been following GPGPU renderers (sp) this year, however, I wanted to know if there is any particular APU/framework that move devs are gravitating to?
I know nVidia pushed with Cuda first but I noticed OpenCL is gaining ground as it is matured...

CUDA works only.
It's still wild west in the GPGPU API front.
Nvidia surely isn't out of the GPGPU game.

Hi,
My budget allow only for GTX550 1GB or GTX460 768MB (NOT 1GB), which one would be better for using general 3Ds Max usage with rendering?
If a general model like this is not sufficient, let's use MSI N550GTX-Ti Cyclone...
