Kitchen Cupboard Curiosity I'm just curious. Of those of you that have kitchens, and if you are so lucky to have cupboards too, and if those cupboards have doors, at any given time are those doors more likely to be open or shut? What cupboard door catch I have a cupboard in the eaves of the roof space. Its a square shape door approx. 1m square. There are door stops all round but its been fitted with a very weak sort of roller catch. When its windy it pops the door open. Catch is fitted top left corner... So X doors with each reed switch in parallel. That way the relay will be only powered when you open a door. Reed switch's are NC when the door is closed but you can get NO and in your situation that would be better.
