You don't even have to use a blow dryer.
When your hair drys it'll be pretty, curly and frizz free.

I have curly and frizzy hair and i use all of the John Frieda frizz-ease products an it keeps my hair curly but not frizzy.
I wouldnt use a flatiron for frizz.

Using a flat iron....
I used to use a diffuser but that started leaving my hair frizzy because I'd dry it socurls are fun! I have always had curly hair however growing up in the 70's when stick straight embrace the curls.

I don't use serums or anything, but do have fairly curly hair- wavy on top, kinky curly underneath, and no poo is wonderful for that.
