Basically, allow the user to tell you whether or not to spin off the events on a new thread.
For every event, and can also be assured that the events will run in a specific order (otherwise).

In my observation. The current events section has turned into a grocery store exit public board.
Too many post in a day by a single person, with trivia news that can be viewed on Yahoo's homepage.
These multiple post are just diluting the board.
