The second command cuts up that result....
Parses to -d' before running cut) , and then the first field ( -f1 ) of that as separated by colons to first cut the line up using '"' as the delimiter and return back the 2nd field ('-f2').

Any Gen 1 experiences with Cut required or No-Cut sliders that could help a fella make a decision one way or the other? I've noticed some of the manufactures are not offering Gen 1 sliders, I assume from the limited space...

I believe, and others have said, that the "cut" type are sturdier.
Second bike came with no-cut sliders already installed.
I bought the kind you cut the holes for--no problem.

CNC cutting services I can pretty much do anything you can think of.
Pricing on Cutting is by the inch for example 1/4" Material: $0.26 a inch + 25c per Pierce.
I have a $20.00 design fee for anything that takes more then 30min to design. I'm pretty quick...

I've cut a lot of 1/4" material metal saws are definitely cleaner running....
Once I got it back and picked up a Jet 4" x 6" bandsaw and have loved it .
I've cut a lot of 1/4" material with it and even some 5/8" and 3/4" material with it.
