Every summer I buy flowers from the supermarket to put in vases at home but I've only just realised that I could save a packet and grow my own flowers on my allotment to cut!! Heaven knows why I didn't think of this before!!

Not sure this would fall under their remit, but here goes.
We've always been disappointed with the drive into Skegness, it's really bland with nothing to say you have arrived. Seems a shame to have grass verges etc... with nothing much growing on them...

DH never gets me flowers, at my request. Especially at Valentines Day when roses are so expensive - I would much rather have the money for something else. Also, if I have a vase of flowers I always feel guilty because you're supposed to cut the stems,...
