I have very straight and poofy hair and it is sometimes annoying to deal with it sticking up in weird places, the poofy-ness in general, etc. anyone else have this kind of hair and/or know a way to deal with it better? Your advice is appreciated

Plus they look really good with side.
The short layers will give volume there making your hair look thicker and fuller.
I think the better way to go is to have your hair cut with short to long layers.
