If you have a piece of 1" or 2" pipe that you are using to put a sprinkler head on, how do you figure out where to mark and put three legs on it, so that it will stand up in a field. I can look at the pipe and can not figure out the right way to place...

I may have a leak in a c900 water pipe we installed last fall. There is a meter pit & the last 2 months the water usage is way higher than it should be. We tried isolating lines by shutting valves in different phases. We isolated it to a 200' section....

I am building several polished stainless steel, wall mounted handrails. I was thinking about laying out the miters using triangulation on card stock because I don't have a vertical band saw. Does anyone have a better idea? Any help would be appreciated...

Just cut the pipe once at that angle and spin the pipe 180 degrees cut the pipe to the angle straight on a saw, then grind in the slight arc or notch.
To the vertex and you have your two angles.
