Yeah I went through a stage of having cystitis regularly, but it seems are allowed to prescribe spare antibiotics to people who get cystitis regularly.

Has anyone ever had interstitial cystitis - have it now 7 weeks after a rotten uti I picked up after having my last baby 7 weeks ago. On antibiotics for it since and have to stay on them for another 4 weeks. Then maybe instillations into the bladder...

A urologist can do a bladder exam, pressure & urine flow tests in her office that would determine if you have IC or another problem that's causing your distressing symptoms .
I do hope you've been referred to & evaluated by a urologist .
