Per your experience, the problem with my D300 just kept getting worse and worse so that finally only 1 in 4 presses of the shutter button for return shipping.
This same problem occurred with my D300 after >120K shots.

Built in Flash broken - D300 So my built in flash is broken, it still flashes but the mechanism to make it pop up has somehow broken not sure how.
