Must be in mint condition, boxed and with all bits n bobs. Would also need to be shipped to Munich to save me waiting till the next time I'm back in the UK to pick...

I have a V-DAC (non-async) and V-Link about the Abrahamsen DAC being....
V-PSU should be an improvement.
If you are looking for a USB DAC then it should be an Async USB DAC - the V-DACII is which is why you do not need a V-LINK.

Hi
i am facing an issue in DAC.
1. DAC client is unable to connect to DAC server (icon being in RED). It was working fine till recently.
DAC client is on windows and DAC server is on Linux.
We even tried bouncing the servers....
Any inputs on this Pls...

Had to replace them again in the DAC\lib to resolve this issue.

our comapany is using hr analytics.In hr analytics,SDE_ORA_PersistedStage_WorkforceEvent_Performance_Mntn task is taking a long time to run.uaually it used to run for 1 min to load 222,344 rows but taking 3 hrs to do the same.

There seems to be new Dacs popping up quite a bit. Over on the CA board (computer audio), some members talk as if they upgrade their Dacs every year. Are we now at the point to where if you buy a good DAC now, will it be a keeper for the next 10 years...

DAC's like computers have a 3 year lifespan until they are superceded.

Burson do a good DAC/Headamp by all accounts, but you can get some nice separate amp + DAC combos for similar money to these all in ones is a Possibility as well.
Like a tank and has a clean (read 'unforgiving') sound .

Changing voltage reference of the DAC is possibly the best way to adjust the volume.
