Hiya!
I use my iMac for creative production and recently bought some studio monitors for sound. I do not record music on my computer. The sound production is limited to the audio on videos I film.
I have an external Edirol FA-66 firewire sound card, but...

But I prefer offloading the DAC to a firewire device wherever possible, especially when something intensive-toslink on the headphone jack, so there's another avenue for an external dac.

Estoy leyendo muchisimo sobre como amplificar la señal del reproductor de pc/mac.
En mi caso, es un mac.
Lo primero e imprescindible es un DAC.
Luego em ampli o etapa de potencia ( si el dac tiene funcion de previo) y luego los altavoces, no menos importantes...

Stell Foobar auf WASAPI + volle Lautstärke und Du hast eine Bitgenaue Wiedergabe...

Bei digital gibts nur 1 und 0 da klingt nix, was VOR dem DAC sitzt, sofer jeder teil bitgenau übernimmt.
WO geld reinfließt, ist in die hardware z.b.(edirol fa66),sennheiser hd-555 ...
