Where are the characters in the park?
If there is someone in particular that you REALLY, REALLY want to see I would check into seeing if you could do a meal with them. Sometimes I think this is the best and easiest way to see them, get pics and signatures.

Additional Characters at Meals?
The 3 character meals that I really want to experience are the breakfasts at Tusker House, 1900 Park Fare, and Crystal Palace. What I am wondering is, what is the chance there will be other characters there also, in addition to the characters that are advertised. For example, at 1900 Park Fare, Mary Poppins, Alice, and the Mad Hatter are supposed to be there. Will Bert be there, or maybe a penguin or two, or anyone else from Alice in Wonderland? Im also hoping Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Pluto, and Goofy will be with Donald at Tusker House. Most of all, Im hoping beyond hope, that Rabbit will be a surprise guest at Crystal Palace.

What novel should I teach?
Speaking of McMurtry, if it weren't for all of the naughty bits, The Last Picture Show would be great. Oh, and another idea -- Arthur Miller's The Misfits . The movie is flawed, but I really like the novella, and a western might be fun for this class.

Spirit Dies?
I keep telling you that we are getting too close to things that the Martians don't want us to see. That's why all these Mars missions are failing left and right. It has nothing to do with misplaced decimals by lowest bid contractors!
