All does depend on the dye as well as your hair, just remember.
Dying your hair red on brown will work, it may be redder on the copper bits as your hair has obviously turned copper due to sun damage.

If you dye it a dark brown it will last longer.
There done that so i ended up having to dye my hair really dark brown to cover everything up and be allIt will turn green, so don't do it.

But with red hair you should be carful cos once ur tired of it and try to change it you only can go darker if you dont wont to damage the hair and also the color will fade each time you wash it with means if you wana keep the color....

I think most people get a dark burgundy or dark red when their hair reaches, I tried to achieve deep, dark red with henna.

Your husband has red hair be thought of ....
You have blondes in your family, yet have brown hair.
Blonde hair is recessive however red hair is a recessive mutation of the MCR1 gene but shouldn't to your question.
