If you have compacted since moving the Inbox, then that is the
only tool that will work.
Create are very slow and not as
resourceful.
Open OE and you will have a new and empty Inbox.
To the Desktop
and rename it Temp.dbx.

Assuming you're not missing any messages in any folders....
INBOX (1).DBX = a damaged DBX file previously associated with your Inbox
folder.
INBOX.DBX = the DBX file currently associated with your Inbox folder.

Move them to local

You should never need to go into your message store and delete
DELETED ITEMS.DBX (or any other DBX) with IE4.x installed, OE's message store will
contain MBX and IDX files, not DBX files.
