$16,400 and the Subaru dealer I went to gave me a trade in value of $16,000 before any negotiating doing alright with trade-in 2011 CR-Z KBB is about $16.5k to $17k.

What's the difference between a Buy-back offer from a dealer and a trade-in? same thing - different marketing method?

Since most people have only one car, a back-back becomes a trade-in ....
The dealer may want the kind of car you have (buy-back) for his used car lot, but he also wants to sell you another car (trade-in).
Usually, it's the same thing.

I think nothing of it, it's a low will think about it and the px price can go up quite a lot .
No 1 dealer offers 8k, No 2 dealer offers 9k.

I am trying to get my new X5d in May for the OLP ($1500)but the car has already shipped from the VPC to dealer1. Dealer2(my dealer) is saying we will need to ship the car for $(1000) from Dealer1. Can VPC reroute it by any chance? One, I think it's safer...

I went to two different dealers this week to attempt a trade in for a 2012 6.2L gas truck. My 2008 6.4L diesel is valued by NADA for trade in value, at $35,000. Each dealer is offering $10,000 under that. Saying that they can't move diesel's right now...
