Yea.. 22/70 payments out of your car only to trade it in and get another.
You'll have a shitton more payments to make and, if I remember correctly-vaguely-you might end up getting negative numbers on your credit score(?).

ONly thing worse is LEASING it and then finding you can't DRIVE it for three months because you went over the generous "miles allowance". "course "they can make that all go away" with a new lease.... yeah right.

As for the trade-in, I usually look for a price in between the excellent and good values into the dealer with the cash and....
The dealer hood.
If there's a trade in, the only figure that matters is the difference.
And mirrors.

They either had to buy it off another dealer (who takes their cut) or made some concession on a trade dealership.

Sometimes they're not willingIn my personal opinion I'd go down to the original dealer and check it out, then if you like it just try and strike a deal there.
The car has to agree to sell it or trade with the other dealer.

I was at a local Honda dealership last night and noticed they took in a 2nd gen lifted Tacoma with Ivan Stewart TRD rims wrapped in 265-75 BFG KM2's. The KM2's had about 60% tread left.
Curious if anyone knows if I could purchase these off the dealer ...

Makes since, I'd.
It's not likely but dealers have told me in the past they'd rather have stock equipment on trade ins.
Yeah seriously just ask em.
There is only one way to find out, ask the dealer.
