How did you finance your adoption?
Since we are "doing" Dave Ramsey we are saving up for it. We found a very inexpensive international country program with an agency that we liked and a bit longer timeframe so we will have everything saved up. Once we get the tax credit back we intend to use it to start our second adoption but since we are still waiting for a referral for our first that will be awhile out. I am a SAHM who has thrown newspapers and I am watching a little one for extra money to save.

How much debt do you have and how fast are you paying it off?
My issue with Ramsey is he doesn't take interest rates into account. As long as you have discipline it makes sense to consider interest rates when paying things off.

What Makes the Canadian Financial System So Different?
There is also the fact that we don't have any small banks. The banking services are almost all provided by 6 large banks. This way, if anything goes wrong they are better able to survive the hit and can recoup on longuer term.

Obama's latest financial plan- good idea or bad idea?
I'm not sure how this will turn out, but I'm glad to see that Obama is trying to do the right thing here. I would like to see that initiative more often from him.
