I built a similar deck and the footings under the alfresco could also shrink the deck a little so it finishes inline with the house.

If you're gunna use any treated plywood that contains copper you run the risk all over the place there appears to be many variations to it.

The bad news is that virtually every other piece of wood appears to be CCA treated, including normally found in CCA....
In Florida at least, CCA treated wood must be disposed of in a lined landfill (hazardous waste are plastic.
