Just bought a tilt deck trailer (locally shop made) that has all the wooden decking rotted away. need to replace it. What's the most cost effective (pine, oak, else, treated, untreated, etc.) way to replace and treat the 2x??x96 boards? Trailer is 96"...

I'm thinking I've seen boxes similar to that, hung under the deck of a stake bed cargo trailer,, i think mine is 20ft,, and may not fit under the deck, TOO HOT to go out and measure!! plus the OHIO.

Get it, no matter what.
The hull and deck needs a wooden boat with fiberglass in a way that the fiberglass will stay on.
You should use epoxy resin for better adhesion and water resistance .

Generally wooden boats are more maintenance than GRP, tend to be older (often long keel) designs and less aboard a wooden yacht?
How do the compare with GRP?
