My sister in law thought she had a gas leak! Had me round to check couldnt find nothing told her to getbthe gas board round! Turns out it was some mouldy potatoes... .
If it's strong - then that's probably what it is .
In my experience only gas smells like gas.

It really depends on a few main things:
->what shade(s) of purple are you leaning towards
->what style are you ... .
Unless you are painting or putting up wall paper that has some kind of pattern or design .
I wouldn't go with black walls for sure ...
