After have a complete makeover I'm looking in to redecorating my living room with a 1920s theme has any got any wallpaper design ideas and other suggestions which would complete the 1920s theme? Thanks

Gary It is rather hard to help without seeing some photos, a floorplan and knowing a bit more about the home and space .
Just stay away from vinyl or foil facings unless your wall make-up warrants the additional vapor barrier there .

As an art person and with gallery clients, I have seen many put sculpture in place and light it nicely .
I often wonder if home designers or architects fell asleep and forgot about them in drawings .
Those sort of spaces really are problematical.

There is a crack that runs along the length of this double beam, which makes the top of the entrance to the kitchen. It looks like the previous home owner / contactor neglected...

Why does it look like there is a length of wood running along

How do prepare these walls for decorating? I got a new flat. I stripped the old wallpaper off the living room as they'd done a terrible job at it and then they painted on top.
Under the paper it isn't smooth plaster, it's sort of all grey stone with lots...

First of all you must fill all your walls with a filler that is easy to sand tetrion filler is very good.Sand all walls then dust down.Then seal all walls with unibond,Then get some lining paper i suggest no less than 1400 gauge leave to dry for a day... .
