Being as the DEED OF TRUST....
This is nonjudicial and you signed your rights away when you signed the Deed to be granted.
An update? The DEED OF TRUST with a signature from the borrower giving authorization to use about anything else.

If the company forgave/cancelled....
You don't have to be insolvent if it was your primary residence .
There is a form 982 which can be used to exclude cancelled debt from a primary residence from gross income .
There is no such thing as an "insolvency form 984" .
