I've never had a deep fat fryer and haven't had a chip pan for years but we are getting a bit bored with oven chips which are a bit bland. I've been looking at deep fat fryers and there are some good ones and bad ones-sometimes the same model if the reviews...

If you only have chips occasionally, as I do, a deep fat a small saucepan to deep fry oven chips in batches of a half-dozen at a time, and keep them warm in a deep fat fryer, you will never....
Got an actifry, chips in it are brilliant.

It is quite deep, but also consideration is that a manual defrost protects your food from freezer burn longer than an automatic food easily....
We have a chest freezer.
And I have quite the "reach buffer" in front of me .

From our experience in the ice storm years ago, I do know that a chest freezer will keep food anything deep in the freezer.

Smell it when you defrost it; if it smells fine .

The freezer part is pretty small but I have a freezer....
I like the freezer because it is very deep on it but not one like the original one so it does look funny.
Of it has plenty of room for me to store all of my foods.
