Not sure what happened, but I came into the office today noting that I had no access to e-mail via web or Outlook. Checked event logs and I see this for all of the mailboxes

Greetings.
A rogue.fakeAV and PUM.Hijack.StartMenu took over my laptop yesterday. I've isolated it in quarantine with Malwarebytes. There are 7 entries total: 4 files, 1 registry value and 2 registry data entries.

I've managed to locate my .eml files.
Superantispyware and Malwarebytes, wouldn't you know it, windows live mail has been deleted too.
Removed the quarantined exploit using malwarebytes to do it.

I ran a recent upgrade of cygwin (May 21) after which Norton Sonar decided xterm.exe had performed a threatening action.
Is cygwin xterm bad or is Sonar over-zealous?

A valid strategy is just to wait until that point gets deleted.
