How good do you think delrin would work as a rifle stock? I am thinking about getting a stock made on a 3D printer out of Delrin the quality and price seems reasonable, compared with buying a stock. I would have to make the CAD myself, but I am more then...

I work with precision fitted delrin....
Delrin will shrink over time as it dries out.
I am a mostly hollow Titanium stock would be nicer.. .
Not just delrin they can work with Nylon, poly-carbonate, ABS, Aluminum, Titanium, Stainless, Bronze.

Once I did this it helped out noise....
I took it to a road course and on the way home .
They hold up great that my Delrin bushings on the driver side are shot.
The Spohn front LCA's with the Delrin bushings longer than anyone else on the board.

My sprocket has been ground down to a blank disk and has enough play for the chain to fit between the sprocket and billet tensioner. I like how it has a 3rd bearing support so I'd rather find a way to rebuild it. Anyone use a delrin wheel instead? What...

One reason I got a mini engineering lathe last summer was to help with turning the Delrin plugs for the whistle fipples. It does help a lot, but proves harder than I thought to achieve a true cylinder. I only turn a small length of Delrin rod, sufficient...

Also,....
Heat is your enemy.
I do like turning exotic timbers but delrin is so.
Delrin is wonderful stuff to turn.
I use delrin as well as PVC rod for my plugs.
As concentricity goes, provided I follow the standard rules of turning .

are the top and bottom caps of the J Tanks made of Delrin? and is it food safe Delrin?
I know the fuel tank is made of Delrin, but is it food safe grade?
I've read there is a big difference between Delrin, Food Safe Delrin, and the generic...
