Edited by Larryz ( 01/01/10 11:33 AM ) I have a Hot Rod Deluxe which I juiced up with JJ tubes, and a Eminence Tonespotter speaker....
I dearly hated the overdrive channel on every Blues Deluxe or Deville...
Trouble than they're worth.

I also use my stomps in between the guitar....
I also set the BIAS a bit higher than Fender recommends.

Did you try out amps from other manufacturers? I certainly would have, after all that .
:-/ The Deville is almost twice as heavy as a Deluxe Reverb RI.

Which Fender amp under $1200??? My budget is $1600AUD. I say $1200USD cause a Fender amp of that value in the US, is about $1600AUD in Australia.
I'm looking for a combo, and something that nicely matches my Fender Jaguar. As much as i love Rowland S....

I don't see much vintage Fender over here , DeviEver Good luck finding a new/good ....
Gods my eyes on are the new reissues, not vintage Fender.
Reverb IS a must!
Either a Deluxe Reverb or a Silverface Pro Reverb will do the trick.
