I've never been a big fan of loctite on pivot screws. I decided to use floss wrapped around the threads like I used teflon tape on pipe threads.
So far it appears to work great. Screws haven't moved a bit.

Having seen guides to dental flossing - arn't you simply transferring the flossed bits from one tooth to another - as you are using the same piece of tape?
And why is it every time i try to floss -the floss tape just gets stuck and tears apart?

Flossing cleans 40% of the tooth surfaces. Brushing cleans 60%. Infected gum tissue turned inside out would equal a wound the size of a credit card on your hand. You would treat that wouldn't you?
