There are 3 levels of coverage with dental insurance which poster has a point.

Our auto shop provides dental insurance, and it's a pretty decent package and I for health ....
Not even on my boyfriend and myself.
No one in my company has either health or dental insurance.
But it's pretty darned sucky.
If you have a good plan, what is it? If you sell it, I would rather give a calgunner my money. I've not been to the dentist in 20 years. As such, I anticipate needing some basic work over the next few years; fillings, cleanings, maybe a crown or two.....

I only asked because I've never heard of people buying dental insurance anywhere other than through their work.
And coverage for health insurance, I'd imagine they can do it for dental as well.
