I have read some other discussions and it seems like many dental assistants hate their jobs. I am considering becoming a dental assistant and would like to know more about it. Do you get benefits? Is the pay decent?

Man if only I knew what I was getting myself into. My college advisor told me to become dental assistant . I followed her advice and I finished the assisting program last year. I didn't know how much more money hygienists make until I started working....
