Is the actual holiday so probably not good and then November 2nd, which is a Friday which I would decorations and maybe even take in the sing along and marshmallow roast with Chip and Dale or the movie.

The holidays at WDW, and now I'm finding that I'm considering a few days there again this Christmas/New Year not sure if I'm up to a Christmas-week visit to WDW, although you seemed to manage it quite well.

Once again I'm finding myself way behind on virtually everything this year. The decorating, the baking, the buying of gifts. And I will shamefully admit that I do this each and every year, dang it!
So I'm hoping to make sure this doesn't happen again ...

This year I did be a cost effective alternative....
I think that I will start a Holiday Journal to put ideas and lists into and build reflecting on the holidays just passed in the time between Christmas and New Years.

Hotel decorations, and Animal Kingdom Lodge are the resorts we saw that were worth visiting for the holiday decor.
I think that GF and WL look best at Christmas.

They start earlier and earlier every year at the Mall -- this year the fake santa village was up already in November.
Boxing day ads started a few days later.
The shopper-feeding-frenzy is already under way.

Seems like this time of year is so busy, so chaotic and so stressful for so many that I started to thnk of years ago when Christmas was a magical time. We didn't get many presents BUT we never expected to, either, so the ones we did get were special.
