Hi
My printer is an HP DeskJet 5850 and after installing 10.6 I was without a printer as there were
no drivers - either HP or Apple. Anyway I decided to try installing the 5900 driver for my 5850
that there will be no Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) support available for your HP product HP Deskjet...

This has been a major let-down for me. I splurged on this HP DeskJet 1000C sometime around 1995
there's hardly any space for such a printer.
I'm wondering if it isn't time to chuck the HP 1000C and buy a USB
Home Server (32-bit) installed on the machine to which the HP DeskJet 1000C had been connected
