4 stage RO/DI unit recommendations I am very new to this, and would love to be able to pick up a RO/DI unit that is not over $160, that is easy to setup and maintain. does anyone have a recommendation?

There needs to be a check valve so that....
Does that make sense? just found out.
The "T" inbetween B and the faucet....then add the DI...that way the water has a chance to run through all the membranes and the DI before going to the tank...

The LFS where I get my water from has closed its doors. I'm starting to run out of options on where to get water from so I'm thinking about setting up my own RO/DI unit. Any recommendations? Would the RO/DI units that they have at a local hardware store...

From my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk Is there a big difference between an RO unit and a RO/DI unit? The DI be dissapointed! I got my unit from filter direct and im happy.
I bought a BRS RO/DI Unit about a month ago, and not only does it waste about 200-300 gallons per day, it only makes about 35 gpd. PSI is at 38 I have it hooked directly to a water hose spigot... Am I doing something wrong? ***?

PWC- 5.0 micron nominal rated sediment filter, two 5.0 micron possibly grade, how old or how many ounces of unknown DI resin, probably around 12 oz total between two and horizontal so very ineffcient due to short....
Specific fresh DI resin.

Have you contacted them directly sure it has a full size 20 oz vertical refillable DI filter, not a small, or multiple small horizontal DI filters, either refillable or throw....
They are nice.
That's too bad about the spectrapure unit.
Hi, So I need to purchase a RO / DI unit and the process inside of the unit - I understand but if a unit produces 60 G for example but the unit itself has a capacity much less, does the unit need to be plumbed in or connected to a faucet?

The difference in width is no big problem 640x640 vs di.
The 597 also has di (down imagine) which the 587 does not.
I do not see a 587ci HD di.
More than enough for you.
The 587 will still go to 1000ft.
