I could eat until nausea would set in and be hungry an hour later.
To work for you since the things you are use to eating are not things you can eat for the rest I feel eating it.

Right now i am eating about 1500cals a day my RDI says 1900cals a day but i eat less but haven't seen much progress with 1500cals. should i drop it down to 1200cals or what. any one have any suggestions?i am 24 and i weigh 212lbs.im not doing any exercise...

I keep my RDI on FS at 1500 but I try to eat about 1200-1300 calories help is adding everything you eat AND drink to your food diary.
And it has worked for me.

I never cared that they had to eat fruit while eating, the kids will fill up on fruit, stay occupied while waiting for dinner, and eat less of the fries have wanted those! haha depends ....
I try to avoid fast food as much as I can .

So is basicly similar to the Paleo diet.
It's about not eating processed foods.

I've been on the Atkins Diet since Jan. 2nd. All and all, it's been doing great for me. I follow their guidelines & haven't wanted to give up on it like most diets I've tried. The problem though is that after the 4th or 5th day, I started losing my appetite...

But as some said above, anyone on a "diet" is really eating something he's not prepared to....
Not too many calories and nutritious.
Try eating 1000.
You can eat 1000 calories of pizza quite easily, and have room for dessert.
